Young Folks

Yesterday, me and my high school friends went to Rockwell (to do Barre3...ohh and they're also having a sale not mall wide though) and then Megamall after, for the 3-day sale. we went inside Forever21 because of the great deals we might be able to find (50% off and another 10% off if you have SMAC). When we were finally inside the store... it was like the very first day Forever 21 had opened last July 2010 (as Karen described). The store added additional racks which made it impossible for us to pass... even saw some ladies fitting outside the changing rooms just to try on the clothes. Saw two ladies carrying at least 3 black bags each (hmmm...wonder what they bought). Anyways, the line was endless. So we left the store not buying anything. =| 

This is why most of the time I love to hate sales... most of the time.. not all the time.. 

We went inside SM department store instead... and I bought... ORLY!!!!  =)

I super kaduper looove this color! It reminds me of summer and winter at the same time!

 the shade is sort of lavander-ish + royal purple-ish + gray-ish + neon-ish =I can't realy describe the color.. BUT I FEEL LIKE IT MATCHES WITH EVERYTHING!

3-in-1 workout

this summer...

Thanks to my sister and dealgrocer, I was able to enroll me and my friend to a one week unlimited pass to any barre3 studio (in Rockwell, Fort, Eastwood, or Alabang), it is located inside The Spa. I started yesterday with my friend, the total workout time lasted only for an hour wherein you will be guided by a trainer. For me it was an hour of pure pain, shaking, and sweating....which must mean it's effective! hahaha Today, I went alone, i thought it was going to be more painful (since yesterday's workout pain could still be felt in my arms, shoulder, and back), but surprisingly it was quite bearable! =)...hmmm maybe I'll enroll again in the near future after I graduate... it'll be a short (1 HOUR, BABY!!!) and fun way to get fit.

earlier today we had meeting at McDo, in taft. well... wala nmn masyado ginawa.. ssshhh!! =))

...after lunch, we went to Coffee Bean to edit some pictures and do some other stuff (it was soooooo hot! even when we were inside an air conditioned room) ... stuff = paper mache time!! hahaha It's been years since I last made paper mache! hahah It was so fun, had a lot of help from Char :) thank you!

... after that Char and I went to Nail Files just to escape from the summer heat!

based on my aunt, my dad, some friends, some magazines, and some internet sources... (found the list in a notebook I had before.. when I was super conscious about what food I take in)

if you have...

Puffy eyes:
     eat bananas, grapefruits, cayenne pepper (I heard this also helps in you loose weight)
     nada avoid salt, yeast

Thin hair:
     eat dark greens and meat!(yummmm) beans and eggs also help, along with olive oil (keeps your hair healthy and shiny), almonds
(also heard that if you crush pain relievers and mix them with your shampoo.. it can help keep your hair look healthy... not sure about this though.. sounds like a myth haha)

Brown spots/ beauty marks/ freckles:
     eat dark chocolates, broccoli, green tea
     nada alcohol

Dull skin:
    eat onions, spices, carrots, other green veggies
    nada sugar, caffeine, fried foods

Acne:
    eat melon, tomatoes, red bell pepper (anything bright red and orange colored fruits)
    nada seaweeds, shrimps

Wrinkles:
    eat fruits rich n color, salmon, lobsters, (if you add 1/8tsp cinnamon in the foods you eat, it can decrease your sugar level)
(..will definitely try this!!)


Dry skin:
     eat avocado, kiwi, citrus, olive oil, water
    nada coffee and black tea (I also heard that when you drink tea, you'll be more prone to stretch marks?)

... I'm NOT sure if these are all true, but whacha gonna loose?

In third year high school, I started to watch old hollywood movies. I first started with Breakfast at Tiffany's. After that, began my LOVE for old films! What I loved about it was, kinda weird, the lighting.  It felt surreal for me, I also love the sound effects (really adds drama! hahaha). 

The first movie I saw James Dean in was Rebel without a Cause, ooohhhh and from that moment on I  started crushing on him. Natalie Wood also starred in that movie, also loloove her!

btw,  got the blog title from a song of The Killers. :).... and if you haven't watch Rw/oC yet...WELL... WATCH IT NOW!!

10:30 a.m. we watched dvd's

1:00 p.m. played with sephora make up (trying to turn me into an alien!)

2:30 p.m. went for a swim

8:00 p.m. dinner with high school friends

10:00 p.m. watched a movie at green hills (big momma!---miracle miracle... hahah) 

12:00 a.m. ate at krispy kreme (original honey glazed donuts were already sold out, :(  so the krispy kreme counter guy gave us the honey glazed mini donuts for free -freshly made- he was super nice!)

1:00a.m. went to karen's house (slept over)

at karen's house:

We came in so late... the  front door of her house was already locked, so we decided to pass through the back door -running and jumping like crazy on the way there cuz we saw some roaches- and then when her big ass dogs saw us.. they barked like crazy inside their cages, they also jumped inside their cages..it was as if the cages were going to break...which made us run for our life... when we reached the back... huhuhu... it was ALSO LOCKED!!! so this meant that we had to go back and pass by her crazy, barking, jumping dogs again! felt like I was literally going to have a heart attack. 

Thank God, Karen's mother woke up to open the door, and saved us from the dogs, roaches, and the bats!

On our way up to karen's room, she was laughing at us cuz we looked so funny running =|

.... it was a superrrr fuunn day!!

JEMA turnover

I've been posting about JEMA a lot lately... last thursday (April 14, 2011) was the last day we would be called Jema elites. hiihihihi now we're officers!!! A year of hard work finally paid off!
